Daily Habits To Improve Your Life No Matter Where You Are

The habits in this post will help you improve your life no matter where you are. Take them with you and use them anywhere. Habit talk can feel played out, but having habits that you truly believe in can help you live your best life. First you need to figure out the habits you need, define how you use them, and learn how to pull from your habit toolbox. We will break all of the down here.
The best part about all of these habits is that you do not need anything but dedication to yourself to do them. No equipment, no ‘perfect’ space, all of the tools you need are already within yourself.
Figuring Out Your Habits:

If you want to get a grip on your habits.
- Sit down and write out what you do almost every single day.
- Write down what you want to do every single day.
- Write down what you can be doing to make sure that you are living your most authentic and fulfilled day, days, life.
If you don’t know what your most authentic and fulfilled life or day is, DON’T WORRY girl.
This can ultimately feel like one of the hardest parts. It is a literal brain exercise but start daydreaming, writing down your ideal day or life, making lists of ideas and dreams. See if you can sit down and visualize a fulfilling day from start to finish. The more you start to think about and visualize your ideal day and life the easier it will be to translate it into how to create your daily habits.
With that being said, no matter where you are in your daily habits journey, we will break down all of our daily habits that help us live our most authentic and fulfilled life. We take these habits with us no matter where we are because truthfully we are nothing without them.
Defining Habit Use:
You don’t have to do every single habit every single day. Look at it like having a habit toolbox. Use the ones that you need at that given time. Some habits are done every day, others can be based on emotions or location. Habits are meant for living your best life, so it’s really exciting to be able to pull from your habit toolbox and live your best life!
Here are the habits we keep on hand and the non-negotiables we use to keep ourselves grounded in the reality we want whether we are traveling or relaxing at home.
Habits to Live By:
Broken down into forms of meditation to explore, self- care habits, habits for overall health, and additional habits for nervous system regulation.
Meditation
If you don’t meditate. Meditate and you will know yourself. Just do it should actually be the slogan for meditation. But ultimately, there are many forms of meditation. You don’t have to dedicate yourself to one form of meditation. By using the meditative state as a tool, you can access so much more.

Forms of Meditation:
- Breath
- Visualizing
- Mindfulness
- Affirmations
- Gratitude
- Grounding
The list actually goes on. But it is the meditative state that you are seeking within all of these areas. Accessing the subconscious and integrating these feelings beyond meditation.

Self-Care Habits
These are the self-care, self-love habits we all need to feel our best outside and in.
Forms of self care habits:
- Looking at yourself in the mirror with love, not judgement
- Facial skincare some toners, serums, facial massage, extra love
- Dry brushing/lymph body massage
- Scalp stimulation and hair serums
- Coconut oil pulling
Health Habits
These habits are for the body. Know your body and support it the best you can. We don’t even call these exercises, they are loving rituals for our body to support us the best it can!

Habits for Your Health
- Walk of anything length
- Lymphatic exercise
- Chi gong
- Yoga
- Stretching
- Breathing
- Supplement Intake
- Connect with nature – Anchor into the ground, breath in the air, focus on the plants and animals.
These two are the easiest to forget for some reason, but having awareness is the first step to creating the habit. They are at the basis of it all:
- Proper water intake
- Balanced meals
Nervous System Regulation Habits
If you are looking for specific habits for nervous system regulation, all of the habits listed will help you learn how to regulate the nervous system. What the nervous system wants is safety. Pick the habits that foster safety within your body.

While using some of these habits daily work, you may find yourself wanting quick in-the-moment habits to calm your nervous system (which is ultimately causing you to feel dysregulated).
Habits for the Nervous System
- Sensory Reset – focus on your five senses: what you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel
- Gentle tapping on your chest. You might know it as EFT tapping but it really is as simple as tapping yourself on your chest and remind yourself that you are okay.
- Focus breathing – give yourself even 5 breaths to come back to your body and feel okay again.
